Welcome to the AIA College of Fellows Western Mountain Region!
From 1959 until 2021, the American Institute of Architects’ Western Mountain Region was committed to effecting positive change through the power of design and design leadership.
Those sixty+ years had shown us the impact we have on our profession, our communities, and our young, emerging professionals.
And then everything changed.
AIA National leaders decided to do away with the Regions.
Sixty+ years of leadership, tradition, and a robust sub-culture was in an instant, lost.
BUT NOT ANYMORE . . .
Since 2023 representatives from eight Western Mountain states have been focused with vigor and enthusiasm on “bringing back” the Region.
Only this time, it is through the College of Fellows.
